Betty McCollum Gets a Pay Raise

Despite their miserable public approval ratings, Betty McCollum and her piers will receive a 2.5% pay increase over last years pay. Now our elected officials in congress will be paid $169,300! That comes to a pay raise of $4100! I sure hope they feel entitled to their raise. I mean they are so much better than the rest of us slovenly masses! I have not received an increase in pay for quite some time now. To use one of Betty's favorite words, I personally find this to be unconscionable! One thing is certain, my coworkers and I would be laughed out of town if we told our boss that we just voted ourselves a pay raise!
