Senator Metzen's per diem

After our legislators recently voted themselves a 45 percent increase in per diem I was angry and then curious. I started calling around various state offices untill I got ahold of the Senate Fiscal Services Office. The good people there told me that they only keep records for seven years. After requesting records on Metzen's per diem, here is what I received,

Senator Metzen lives only 10 minutes from the capitol!! Lucky for us tax payers he is ineligable for housing expenses. Notice 2005. That is when the senate shut down and went into extra session.
